Privacy Policy
Effective 25 April 2026.
Short version
We use privacy-respecting analytics (Plausible) to count pageviews and understand which content readers find. We do not set cookies on this site, do not store IP addresses, do not run advertising, and do not build behavioral profiles. Reading uxvmarket.com leaves no persistent identifier on your browser and no individual record on our systems.
What we collect
- Aggregate analytics (Plausible). We use Plausible Analytics, a cookieless analytics service. For each pageview, Plausible records the URL visited, the referring URL, the browser and operating system, the device type, and the country (derived from IP at request time). Plausible does not set cookies, does not store IP addresses, and does not use cross-site or cross-day identifiers. A daily-rotated hash is used to count unique visitors within a 24-hour window; the hash cannot be linked back to you and is discarded at the end of the day. Plausible's data is hosted in the EU.
- Server access logs. Our hosting provider records standard request metadata (IP address, timestamp, requested path, user-agent) for security and abuse prevention. Logs are retained for a short rolling window and are not joined to identity.
- Newsletter subscriptions. If you sign up for the Monday SITREP, we collect the email address you submit and a subscription timestamp. Email delivery is operated through a third-party email-newsletter provider.
- Correspondence. If you email us (corrections, questions), we keep that thread for as long as is reasonable to do our work.
What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent, or trade subscriber email addresses.
- We do not run advertising and do not embed advertising or social-media trackers on the site.
- We do not build behavioral profiles of individual readers.
- We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any tracker that follows you across sites.
Cookies
The public reference site sets no cookies. Plausible Analytics is cookieless by design. The newsletter provider may set its own cookies on its own pages (subscribe and unsubscribe forms hosted at its domain); see the provider's privacy policy for details.
